You are starting a new project! Or a new practice! Or a new hobby! You are very excited and feel motivated to get to work, but within a few days or weeks your motivation is totally gone and you wonder how you can be successful.
What bridges the gap between motivation and success? Consistency.

It is through consistency that habits are built and growth is achieved. There is an old saying that it is better to be consistently good than occasionally great. Think about this in your exercise habits. A really tough workout every few weeks will not give you the same results as showing up multiple times a week. Even if those workouts are not as hard or intense, the consistency of them will make the difference.
What does consistency look like? Does it mean you show up at the same level every single time? Nope. It means you continue to show up regularly. Consistency will look different based on many factors, we are humans, we have trials and struggles that will impede our ability to always be at our very best. The key is to keep trying.
