Class Descriptions

Read below to find the right classes for YOUR body

Gentle Yoga: Exactly as it sounds; not EASY–but GENTLE on the body and joints. In gentle yoga you won’t be challenged with fast movements or practice tricky transitions. Instead, you can move at a slower pace and really connect with your practice. This is great to study your movements further, or to relax a bit.

YIN: Yin is a very slow paced practice focusing on opening up the connective tissues of the body; there is a relationship with emotions and trauma in the connective tissues in the body–plus, our connective tissues need flexibility for the overall health and movement of our bodies and joints

Yin + Yasa: in yin we typically do not flow between movements, but rather ‘rebound’ with a counter stretch after holding a yin pose for a few minutes; in yin+yasa, we add some fluid movement in between the postures to give us a little more of a flow feel to the much needed yin holds

Hot Flow: Hot flow is a traditional vinyasa yoga class heated to 90-92 degrees. We don’t move TOO quickly, but do leave space with instruction to challenge the room as needed.

Hot Power: In our hot power class, you will be challenged with tricky postures, lots of vinyasas, and movements that stress you to feel you can do ANYTHING!

Pulse30: pulse 30 is a 35 minute class with a 30 minute mash up of our favorite movements in the studio: 10 minutes of pilates inspired core work, 10 minutes of HIIT and barre movements to increase the heart rate and tone, and 10 minutes of power yoga. This class allows you to get a quick workout focusing on all the important needs of the body, and then rest in savasana. We also have a 60 and 90 minute class in this format.

Barre: Our barre format is inspired by traditional ballet and barre workout formats–small movements with long rep sequences to work to fatigue. In barre at our studio, we add cardio, core, and lots of props to give you a full body workout that will help your posture, core engagement, and overall muscle tone.

Ballet Barre: Our ballet barre class is a ballet inspired class focusing on slower, longer, full range motions to help lengthen the muscles of the body and create flexibility, and control in your movements. It is a great recovery class, and if you’re looking for a slower workout to really feel your body–this is a great choice! Ballet barre feels more like an accessible adult ballet class!

Mat Pilates: Our mat pilates class is exactly as it sounds; all the fundamental pilates movements able to be performed on the mat without apparatus equipment.

All Levels Flow: All levels flow is exactly as it sounds; an all levels of ability yoga class that lets all abilities practice together and work at their own level of comfort, need and experience

HIIT w/weights: HIIT with weights class is a quick paced workout with alternating movements of cardio, weights, and other workout moves to help you work your total body and work up a quick sweat

Beginners Yoga: Beginner’s yoga is the place to start if you are truly looking to understand class movements and terminology more fully. We give time to break postures down and work through movements and positioning in this class

Yoga Sculpt: Yoga sculpt is a yoga flow inspired workout with weights and props; if you need more ‘workout’ in your yoga practice, this is a great opportunity to workout while working in

Cardio + Pilates: your favorite mat Pilates class with cardio bursts added to give you an ultimate sweat and total body workout!

Pilates + Barre + Stretch: this class uses the small Pilates apparatus stick/barre to simulate a reformer in the studio, as well as the magic circle and bands for deeper stretching. We use small range movements, focus on advanced Pilates movements to warm our bodies, and then end with stretching techniques to create and improve flexibility

Chair yoga: just like it sounds, chair yoga helps make yoga more accessible using a chair to help with balance and supporting one’s own body weight.

Xpress: xpress on the schedule means 45 minutes instead of one hour
